Shawn Vargo - President/CEO at 3rd Coast Coffee Service - Elyria, Ohio

Shawn has been working in office coffee service for about 25 years. He started in the OCS business at The Cuyahoga Group / Canteen in Cleveland where he was the director of office coffee services and, for 10 years, helped build and develop the OCS program. After 10 years, Shawn decided to start his own OCS company – 3rd Coast Coffee. 3rd Coast Coffee is now the leader in bean-to-cup coffee systems in northeast Ohio. 3rd Coast Coffee is a De Jong Duke authorized dealer.
Dan Welch | President | World Cup Coffee
World Cup Coffee is an OCS based in Portland, Oregon. World Cup began when Don Welch purchased the business in 1985. At that time OCS was how cheap can you get Folgers, Yuban & MJB in our office along with can cream & sugar. Don decided to differentiate by offering the best service at a competitive price. Once established we began to improve on the quality of products offered. The Micro-Roaster trend was beginning and World Cup went along for the ride. To further improve our quality in 1993 we began roasting our own coffee and opened a few retail shops. During Covid we closed our shops and reformulated to offer more pantry snacks and micro-markets as the city is still in the beginning of opening up again. Today we pleased to say are well above our Pre-Covid numbers and have a strong staff.
