Inter Miami CF announced it is elevating fans’ experience at its venue, Chase Stadium. The Club is introducing the integration of Zippin checkout-free stores.
“We’ve been working tirelessly during our short offseason to introduce technology to decrease wait times and expand the variety of our exceptional food offerings with the goal of elevating and providing a memorable matchday experience to our fans at Chase Stadium,” Laurence McMillon, director of food and beverage, said in the announcement.
As an integral component of the technological enhancements available at Chase Stadium, four new Zippin-powered checkout-free stores were launched, offering fans the option to shop for food and beverages checkout-free and avoid lines, providing them with more time to enjoy the fútbol excitement on the pitch. The outdoor checkout-free stores were deployed in existing structures and tents.
How a Zippin checkout-free store works:
- Shoppers enter the store with a valid payment method (credit card or mobile wallet) and pick the items they want.
- Shoppers simply zip out the store and upon leaving, are automatically charged for the items they take (if they picked something up and put it back, they aren’t charged for it if they don’t leave with it).
- Shopping typically takes just 30 seconds or less.
In addition, Inter Miami has introduced in-seat service for field-level seats, SW corner theater boxes and field-side suites, facilitated by Listo & Kallpod mobile ordering, enabling orders to be placed from the seats before halftime. Self-service concession ordering kiosks are powered by Inter Miami's office point-of-sale partner, CHEQ.
The Club also announced the addition of C3 into the already Food and Beverage program at Chase Stadium this season.
