Comments on: SURVEY: Where Do Customers Choose To Leave Reviews? https://gatherup.com/blog/survey-customers-choose-leave-reviews/ Feedback, reviews & customer experience Thu, 10 Nov 2016 17:25:13 +0000 hourly 1 By: Dave https://gatherup.com/blog/survey-customers-choose-leave-reviews/#comment-211 Thu, 10 Nov 2016 17:25:13 +0000 https://www.getfivestars.com/?p=5006#comment-211 Little late in responding. I have data on restaurant reviews. In yelp markets (ie big cities plus East and West Coasts) yelp ranged 5-10 times as many reviews as google. FB was a little behind yelp and way more than google. In non yelp markets (ie smaller metro areas and non coastal) yelp ranged about 3-6 times the volume as google. FB trailed yelp by a little and was way ahead of google. Looked at 20 randomly chosen restaurants in a heap load of markets…plus abt 40 restaurants in the DC market(a yelp target market).

Now that was JUST restaurants (all types/ fancy -sub shops) I presume the operators didn’t need to request reviews.

Just data…but that industry…which is one of the natural targets for reviews shows different tendencies. It would be further interesting if you could survey data by industries.
