In my opinion, acting promptly and trying to get the issue resolved can get you a lot of positive traction from the audience and enable a consumer to be your brand’s loyal. Just need to make sure that you are doing everything right. Great explanations through examples though.

Hi Gary- Great question. I get asked it often and I’m going to write a blog post on it … stay tuned. To answer you though, I think going back in time is a good thing. You might hold off on a very negative or aggressive review, but taking ownership of all your past reviews is a good signal to future prospects. Try to reply to your bad reviews, if you have any from months or years ago stating you are now monitoring these and there to help if still needed. Thanks!

My thoughts are that sometimes it is better to let sleeping dogs lie. Especially if they are older positive reviews. If the client’s attitude has changed they could modify the review or delete it all together.
